So far I have been working primarily to collect and organize data that I consulted the librarian Kristin Partlo with. Major progress has been made with georeferencing and getting the Sanborn Maps into ArcGIS. I, along with Ali, will be developing a more historical story map based on these maps during 9th week. I have also created a spreadsheet of major buildings and assigned them to team members to do background research on. The main data source for the background research is the Beacon Real Estate data which has information regarding the frequency of owner exchange, years of building creation, and approximate market value. I have also organized and added to the old photo collection of division street, first curated by Mem. I hope to incorporate these photos into the aforementioned history map, which will ultimately constitute the second page of our final website deliverable.
